dude I’m not even a huge Doctor Who fan anymore but the part when the Tenth Doctor gets disconnected from the parallel universe Rose is trapped in RIGHT AT THE MOMENT when he’s gonna tell her he loves her always fucks me up. Also the Tenth Doctor’s final farewells to all of his companions. (Especially Rose and Donna go d… I hate what Moffat’s done to DW but the 9th and 10th doctors and their companions hold a special place in my heart)

to set the scene, her usual adventure party is dorian, cassandra, and bull. NOW CONSIDER the three of them dealing with tiny baby inquisitor. and tiny baby inquisitor is A MONSTER. it’s not just the tantrums, or pouting, or the cute gurgles of laughter at almost anything, it’s the way her eyes - those stupid big bright blue eyes - would shine with an insatiable curiosity and a spark that no tiny baby should have. one glance and they would melt.

after the initial ‘WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE SHIT OH GOD NO’, bull takes to her like any cool dad would, picking her up in one giant palm and cradling her against the pillowy man bosoms. cassandra is surprisingly soft and careful because she’s so small. dorian on a chair screaming ‘get it away from me’ like she’s a spider dorian who never realised he had any kind of parental instincts is fond of the terror - that is, until she tries to reach for the moustache.

they palm her off on cullen when they reach skyhold, looking surprisingly worse for wear, and as soon as bull gives her over her eyes water and her chin wobbles because she’s grown accustomed to uncle bull and who is this strange fluffy man and cullen panics because he’s made the inquisitor cry oh no.
