Say hello to my new baby. #DVX100B This might be just an old camera to some, but it means so much more than that to me. It's one of several marks in my recent life events that symbolizes big changes for me. I've been awfully quiet about my recent struggles with depression and mental health, but I have pushed through about 2 years of dark fog. I wasn't just reserved but I wouldn't leave my studio apartment for weeks at a time. I was in an extremely unhealthy isolation from anyone, especially those I loved. After a recent diagnosis, I've been making some drastic changes and it has completely turned around my life and opened up my mind like never before. In these recent events I found a new love for visual art and this will be the tool to help me paint what my brain is trying to express. This will hopefully make many music videos, wedding videos, interviews, and hopefully some independent film. ( #funfact This is the camera used to film the first 5 seasons of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" ) I've never been so broke, but I've also never been so happy. Things are looking up. I am looking forward with my chin up. Don't stop fighting and hang onto what makes your heart burn bright. And keep those around you who are going to stoke that fire. Happy Monday. 🙏❤️
