🍠: Does everyone have the potential to be a great person? Why or why not? Is there prejudice in your society against a group of people for a reason they cannot control?
“No, I don’t think that everyone does, because a lot of people refuse to acknowledge their own possibility to do great things. Though, in theory, I think they should be able to be just that. It’s just that they hold themselves back. And... frankly, there’s prejudice in pretty much every society. But, if we’re to take South Korea... let’s just say darker skinned people. I would know.”
🍆: Does someone's past define them? Can their mistakes be washed away completely, or will there always be significant damage? Does someone who's committed a crime deserve a second chance?
“It doesn’t define them, but it shapes them. Past actions will always influence the person someone becomes, in one way or another. It’s just that a bad deed doesn’t necessarily have to be a negative influence. It can be a learning experience instead, something that teaches them how to improve. Yes. I believe in second chances... but it depends on the sort of crime, I think.”
🍅: What is something you absolutely hate? What caused you to hate it so much?
“Being treated like a child. I suppose, the fact that a great many deal of people have done just that after my debut - as though, somehow, the fact that I’m a couple of years younger than them means that I can’t quite have any real knowledge of anything, and I can’t speak for myself. There are other idols my age that don’t receive the same treatment, and, frankly, I find it a little unfair.”
