As we're getting farther into this Endgame. It's seems like a real possibility Horikoshi won't do another Deku and Kacchan talk and that feelings will be resolved quickly during the battles. This gives worry how he will write everyone else.
But I think Kacchan-Deku talks should resolve during battles - whether itās fighting each other or the two of them mouthing off as they fight some else in perfect tandem.
It makes the talk more exciting and dynamic. I think the adrenaline helps to bring to the surface long-repressed feelings as itās always done in their case.
The apology was the opposite of their normal. It stood out so much, because there everyone else was using the ānormalā BKDK language of yell & fight. And then the fighting stopped, time stopped and Bakugou stood out there and made a speech very much unlike their usual - rehearsed and practiced and calm and fully deliberate.
Iām fine with them returning to their usual though, where being in a fight helps them release. Especially for Izuku, I think itās much needed because usually heās so relentlessly polite and kind, but in those high-stake situations, sometimes his other side, āthe need to winā side slips out and he gets just a tiny bit more honest about his less-than-noble feelings. And I personally feel like itās rewarding when that happens.
And since the endgame will need a Deku whoāll want to win, who can be a little bit selfish, I hope Kacchan will find a way to catalyse it in him and Izuku will release all his feelings, as raw and as confusing they may be and that it will bring for both of them a much-needed closure.
