Chiaki lets out a soft yawn as she walks along the Rainbow River and nearly starts to nod off right where she stood. She gives a quick shake of her head to try and keep herself awake and tries to rub the drowsiness out of her eyes. Maybe it was a bad idea to come to the river after a tiring day at the Academy, but it’s only because the sound of the water flowing down the stream is enough to lull her to sleep. Other than that, she’s enjoyed her walk here so far and hasn’t even touched her console since coming here.
Still, it would be embarrassing to doze off out of nowhere and wake up somewhere along the river soaking wet.
She slides her hoodie on and continues her walk, keeping a good distance between her and the stream. Then, she sees a brown-haired girl sitting just a few feet ahead of her, playing on a console she’s never seen before. As she approached them, she notices that the console has two screens! Two!
That’s so cool...!
“Um... Excuse me, what kind of game are you playing?” Chiaki asks after approaching the girl. She wanted to ask why she has triangles painted on her face too, but maybe that’ll be for another time.
