Favorite moments from yesterday's historic Duterte-Cayetano ‪#‎TagumpayNgPagbabago‬ Miting de Avance packed with estimated 1.3M supporters gathered at Luneta:

* Singing of the national anthem...unleashing the patriotic me. For the love of God and for the love of this country, I am ready for the change we've all been chanting for. Nag-umapaw ang hope that PHILIPPINES WILL BE A GREAT NATION -- under a great leadership and with its united people.

* Unfurling of the flag...living under ONE NATION. Yung nasa ibabaw mo na pala yung watawat at gugustuhin mo na lang akuin. Matagal nang nilalapastangan ang bayang magiliw, perlas ng silanganan and it's high time not to be silent anymore and let those who have long been cruel to this land hear what its rightful owners have to say.

* Looking around...just seeing people's smile stretch from ear to ear...seeing tears *sniff* fall down people's faces (ako talaga 'to eh, dinamay ko lang kayo:p, pero aminin niyo na rin) not just because of frustration the outgoing government left us, but also because of the outpouring love and hope that we see in this nation and in the leaders we are about to choose. Not to be melodramatic pero sa pagtayo ko ng ilang oras doon, ramdam talaga ang fervor ng napukaw na damdamin ng mga taong minsan nang naging manhid, hopeless, at helpless.

* Picking up trash. ;) Sakripisyo at disiplina talaga, guys. I've witnessed how the venue was cleaned up na parang walang nangyaring rally. Indeed, kayang magkaisa ng mamamayan -- saan mang class ka nabibilang at ano mang set of values & beliefs mo -- para sa bayan.
