I just went to Germany with my boyfriend for a few days and bought these in Dussmann and I cannot recommend these enough. For all to read.
But mostly for women who wish to largen their chances for a bright career in general.
Here are the titels (I’ll be writing why the different books are good for, beside the booktitles and authors):
48 laws of power, Robert Greene - helps with identifying manipulative strategies for manipulating perception and power plays. Also teaches about philosophy on power throughout the last 3000 years (world wide)
How to talk to anyone, Leil Lowndes - gives strategies on how to converse with anyone (in any work of business related situation) no matter background or interests. (Very good if you struggle with successfully winning people over when conversing)
Nice girls (still) don’t get the corner office, Louis P. Frankel (has a Phd) - about all the unwritten subconscious patterns and values that young girls and women are taught in this society that hold women back in business fields , compared to men - and how to recognize them me unlearn them.
What they still don’t teach you at Harvard business school, Mark H. Mc Cormack - not exactly sure what it’s about but there are a lot of good tips and information that Mark gives based on his experience on Harvard and why he wished he knew when he was studying - related to business and mindset (can work for any kind of business)
How to become a straight A student, Carl Newport - gives study tips on how to study more efficient and on shorter time. Helps with giving a routine and somewhere to start. (Actually helps I read it and it makes it much easier to start)
New methods for women, Sharmadean Reid - helps women in business.
Read. Read. Read.
