[HAIR]: length, colour, texture, whether it grows quickly or slowly, how manageable it is, whether it requires lots of styling, do they leave stray hairs everywhere, is it present on their face, is it present on the rest of their body, etc.
Blonde, soft, curls. Loose natural ringlets that require some care and structuring in the morning to come together into the neat array that she always wears. If left unattended, her hair is a wild fluffy mess, and this is usually the state that Emmerynâs hair is when she wakes up.Â
She has been styling it in the same way since she was ten years old, the natural below-shoulder length that she keeps down around her neck and shoulders. When she was a small child, when her parents were still alive, her hair was often styled to match her mothers, in big top buns with a few special ringlet curls hanging down. But the style she still has now doesnât require as much styling.
[HANDS]: are they large or small, do they have pianist's fingers or short stubby ones, do they tend to get sweaty or are they always dry, is the skin rough or delicate, are the nails painted or chewed or sharp, etc.
Emmerynâs hands are long. Her palms are small and rather dainty, but she has long fingers, callused on the edges from all the quill writing she does. But she uses a lot of cream to try preserving her skin as much as she can. It is considered a form of feminine beauty to have soft hands, after all.
Her nails are trimmed and rarely ever polished. She aims for a natural look, as it makes her more relatable and accessible to her people, so she doesnât go out of her way to make her hands, or herself, too fancy.
[FACE]: what is the shape of their face, do they have pronounced cheekbones or a strong jaw, what's the size and shape of their nose, what's the size and shape of their ears, do they stick out, are they pointed, etc.
Emmeryn has a longer face. A bit of an almond shape, really. Her chin is pointed and stronger than what is popularly considered demure or attractive for young women, but she still carries it well. She has her motherâs soft, slight nose, and she hides her ears behind her hair most of the time. Her lobes are attached, and her ears are generally on the smaller side.
Her face IS rather pretty, but she does resemble her father in some ways, and to some people in the world, that can make her very ugly.
