An example: the simple statement [oh, really] can be spoken and felt with three different meanings/moods/vibes/feelings/energy.
Here’s where confusion injects itself like a blazing burst of aggravation:
If person A typed to the tone of #2 as a question or inquiry because they’re concerned or curious or genuinely interested, but person B -- by applying their own inner voice (consisting of personal thoughts, feelings, and emotions) -- perceives the statement to the tone of #1 with energy as in...Yeah, I get it. Big deal -- as if person A is bored with their response and is just like...oh, really...with little enthusiasm, interest or concern -- and most likely offensive or hurtful or even embarrassing to person B.
So, in reality, while person A is interested and wanting to know more about what person B said/typed, person B is offended and possibly feeling hurt. #lostintranslation
Then...confusion occurs.
