this def isnt the plan bc its wildly out of character but in a different universe post-archangel, the archangel 6 end up having their big band breakup and for like a few months jimmy & lister have this will-they-won't-they all encompassing Thing and jimmy really thinks he has someone to Fix like rowan & fereshteh Fix him. and hes well aware lister is romantically attracted to him and rowan is convinced jimmy loves him back so hes Jimmy's no 1 enabler in the getting closer department, but jimmy is mistaking wanting to take responsibility of lister like rowan & fereshteh have taken responsibility for him for True Love. and fereshteh and rowan are still playing at their pissing contest but fereshteh Knows with all her heart that jimmy isnt actually in love with lister so they're fighting about this in the background. and Archangels been out for a while so jimmy isnt freaking out about disbandment and all the other mental spirals he would go thru during archangel, plus hes going thru this "I'm finally out!! Im finally free !!! Im doing great now that Archangels over Don't talk to me past dark im not very convincing then But its True!!!!!!!" phase fresh out of kpop group jail. so hes practically ignoring The Fereshteh-Rowan Rivalry in favor of meddling in listers life and unknowingly kinda leading him on. and on listers end hes feeling fine n dandy like if Jimmy Kaga Ricci (an honest to god angel ) can be into him maybe he isnt a complete failure of humanity. but fereshteh is still hyperprotective of him and she Knows that this isnt going to end well and so she pulls a very rowan and/or juliet esque move in a desperate attempt to keep lister from self destructing via jimmy heartbreak. and because she knows hes probably the only person that really cared about music Like That (like it was a passion), she comes to him with the proposal that the two of them create a duet group of sorts. and it takes forever for her to wheedle him into it and she kinda weaponizes his protectiveness over her by suggesting that she would go solo w fort records if he wouldn't come with her (as opposed to the 2 of them taking back the righms and bring their own executives) and lister saw everything that happened to them and hes like "Thats when theres 6 of us imagine what they would do if it was just fereshteh." and hes not exactly against the idea just a lil lovesick and willing to throw his life away to be Jimmy's trophy wife if jimmy would have him. but what he didnt really see is that fereshteh had been counting on, and right to count on, the fact that jimmy would be repulsed by lister going back to fame land like a magnet, and thats about the end of their almost almost-a-situationship. fereshteh and lister both go back to the entertainment industry, Bliss goes backstage for performance management n such, juliet follows her aimlessly for a few years, jimmy rooms with Rowan and accidentally enables Rowan to destroy his life and more specifically love life by the excuse of "oh my roommate needs xyz" but everyone he dates only lasts so long because everyone is damn convinced him & jimmy are dating and also even if they arent the codependency isnt much better. WHICH IS TO SAY at some point one of the rest of the 6 look at fereshteh and lister ( probably Rowan bc hes like The only person to see thru lister and also see what his bad habits do to him in tandem, via being roommates, even if rowan didnt always know what to do about it) looks at the two of them singing on SNL or some shit and think "even after archangel these two couldnt escape the performance" and its a tragedy bc if you know them in the archangel We All Lived Together For A Century It Feels Like way, you can tell even thru the makeup and the video screen and the editing, that even if theyre enjoying this specific performance, they arent enjoying the life they have. but theyre also so different in their physical tells that what would you know? you dont talk anymore; you have no claim to them, you have nothing. its over
