Ahahaha, I've found a way to circumvent the YT boycott to continue recommending amazing tracks! This here is the theme of the second boss in the roguelite game "Dungreed," being Niflheim. She's an ice witch, and while maybe the easiest boss in the entire game, her theme is my favorite track out of the entire OST. Dungreed has been one of my favorite video games since I found it from a DangerouslyFunny video a while back. I've racked up over 300 hours in it, and I find it hard to stop playing at times. With the recent addition of a steam workshop page and the studio (Team Horay, a South Korean dev studio) working on a new game, I've been coming back to the game again. I'd sort of forgotten about the soundtrack, but it's one of those games that I will turn off my own music just to hear, and upon reaching Niflheim, I was blown away. I actually bought the soundtrack on Bandcamp fairly recently; it's also available on Steam. The piano going in is pretty nice, and when the beat suddenly kicks in is usually by the time the boss has started actually doing her attacks. The buildup into what I'd consider the song's "chorus" is really nice, and the violin (I think? I don't know my string instruments well) part is maybe my favorite. I wish this track were longer, because the simple piano and electronic drum beat mix is something I'm a pretty big fan of. All around great boss theme, even if it's a bit overkill for how easy she is to beat.
