#dune 02

Little by little, she’s been spending more time outside now. She’s been taking care of herself and she’s touching her violin again. Not just carrying it around when she goes out, but finally actually playing it when she’s home. She’s made a couple of stops. One of the first stops being at the Church of Onoma for some sort of guidance and help. SOME kind of strength from whatever God or gods she believes in. She then made her way to grab something to eat. Ismael still hasn’t been eating well, but today, she’s gotten herself a cheese burger with a side of small fries and something to drink. While she doesn’t finish her food entirely and tosses it in the nearby bin, it’s a big progress to be eating. 

Now, she sits at Golden Wards many parks, the Netwalk. Watching these dogs run about certainly makes her feel a little lighter. Definitely makes that sickening feeling go down some. Ismael has her phone in her hands. She’s debating. DEBATING on who she should contact, because right this moment, she doesn’t feel like being alone. The dilemma is: she doesn’t want to be with someone who knows her. She doesn’t want Kyrie, Nero, Grimm, or whoever else who she’s spent more time with in her presence. Damn. Who CAN she just chill with? 

Badou is an option, but so is Ms. Okina...Or maybe even...

Ismael lowers her head, places her forehead against the cold surface of her cellphone. Maybe she can contact Dune? Yeah, maybe Dune. So, moving her head away so she can look at her screen, she’s about to text away.

Hey, what’cha doin’?

But instead of hitting send, she deletes the message and tries again.

Ayyyyooooo, it’s ya gooooooorll

And she once again deletes the message. 

“Jeezowheez....” She murmurs under her breath. Definitely not going well. Okay. One more time.
