Once she reached the front of the chapel Constance suddenly felt a bit self-conscious in front of all Gabriel’s family and friends. 

She giggled nervously as Gabriel drank in the beauty of the traditional indian wedding outfit that she had chosen for their special day.

Eventually all of the required family members were gathered at the restuarant.

Whilst some perused the menus others were ready to get down to business.

Amy: We’re all here now Gabriel isn’t it time for us to tell you who we liked the most?

Edward: Always straight to the point, that’s so very you sis!

Amy: I just don’t see any point beating around the bush. Anja is a looney tune you don’t need that in your life. The other two are far more suitable. 

Gabriel: What do you think Dad?

Marcel: I concur with your cousin Amy. Anja would bring too much drama. Constance or Liana would be a better choice.

Ruby: I liked Constance, she was kind to me and treated me like an adult. 

Edward: That’s a strong vote from this Table’s VIP.

All too soon the meal with his family drew to a close.

Gabriel hugged his little girl Ruby tight before heading back to the bachelor mansion with the opinions of his family swimming around his head. 

Gabriel: Goodnight my darling girl. When I see you next I promise to bring you someone who will love you as much as she does me.

Ruby: I trust you Daddy. Sleep well. 

Gabriel smiled. Ruby loved him unconditionally and always would, he had to make sure he did right by her.

Once their food and drinks arrived the conversation really got flowing. 

Quite a few of Gabriel’s extended family had strong opinions and they weren’t afraid to express them.

Zoe: My take on this situation is that you need a woman who’s going to both challenge you mentally and be willing to become an instant mother to Ruby. Liana might challenge you physically but I don’t think she can match you mentally. So for me the choice is obvious it has to be Dr Hope. 

Marcel: Zoe’s logical approach makes a lot of sense I must say. 

Duncan: Personally I’d choose Anja but then I like to live on the wildside and I’d tame her. I don’t think you’re capable of that. 

Amy: No offence Duncan but you’re far from normal yourself. If you want Anja go get her and save our Gabriel, he doesn’t need that!

Edward: It certainly is fun to have us all included on this though. So very different to when I was dating my Fatima!

Gabriel’s cousin’s Zoe and Duncan were getting to know Constance.

Scientist Zoe’s girlfriend was a Dr like Constance so she could respect a logical medical mind. 

Zoe: So Constance, what’s your ultimate ambition?

Constance: I would love to become a surgeon who is able to specialise and work part time hours. 

Duncan: Working for a living is for fools.

Gabriel wasn’t sure about sharing the table with Gina and her brother Duncan. He’d never got on with the mean Duncan and he’d heard rumours about Gina’s nefarious work activities but he decided to keep quiet to please his daughter Ruby who was excited to being having dinner with her best friend’s family.
