#dumb waitress

Waitress:Hi! Would you like a table?

Customer:No I want to eat the floor.

Waitress: Oh uhhhh...

Waitress: Leaves, comes back 20 times re-asking questions...

Waitress: (To my mom) Would you like your grilled chicked grilled or fried?

Us: *Everybody turns to look at mom*

Mom: Well I guess grilled

An acquaintance of mine posted on Facebook about how she was eating dinner at a local restaurant tonight. Apparently, the woman sitting the next booth over began breastfeeding her baby right there at her table. The waitress was appalled by it I guess because she told the woman that she was either going to have to go into the bathroom or go out to her car. The mother refused, so the waitress called the COPS on her. Seriously. The cops show up and say, "She's doing nothing wrong, nothing is showing, and it's natural unlike the tops you're wearing to try and secure more tips."

I seriously can't believe this. I used to live in that same town and I don't know why it surprises me. Some of the people there can be so closed-minded when it comes to certain things. I don't think I'd have been confident enough to just whip my breast out there like that, but I think it's so dumb to ask a MOTHER to feed her CHILD in a BATHROOM, of all places. Do you like eating your dinner in the bathroom? Thank you...I didn't think so. And that fact that it was a WOMAN in the first place that was acting that way. Oh goodness.
