AO3 top ten
I’ve just been rattling around on my author page and noticed a thing that made me happy. Nine of my my top ten fics by number of hits take in three of my fandoms, even though I have only really written in one in the past year. And one of them is an Alexander the Great Historical RPF!!!
Now, I’m not the most prolific writer and I usually write between 3 and 10 K words per story. I’m not a ‘big-name’ writer in any of the fandoms I have written in by any means, and the number of hits for these will make many authors wince, but it has been my favourite pastime for many years now. And, damn it, I am PROUD of (some) of those stories! I recall writing every one of them - how I felt, what I was listening to, what was happening in my life at that time.
I’m not sure why, but it made me feel kind of accomplished today. Kind of happy. So here they are, to remind me when I’m feeling crap about myself...
