"Of course Yugi plays on Baby Difficulty." Crosses arms. HUFFS. Shitty smirk. "Weak."
He looks away from the screen to give Kaiba a soft smile before pausing the game for a moment. Without even giving the screen a second glance he quickly switches the game from Beginner to Insane.
Then the game unpauses and he continues to play. And the little character continued to dart about the level almost completely unphased by the spike in difficulty.
He keeps that sweet smile on his face the whole time.
✘ Any unpopular opinions about your muse?
as i said earlier, garen’s not overtly popular, so any “unpopular” thoughts are... difficult to come across, i guess. if i really think about it and sift through content made for him, i think one of my unpopular opinions ( that i’ve talked about before ) is people making him an uncaring older brother to luxanna. i hate it, so, so much. garen’s a very deeply devoted man with so much love and loyalty for his nation and people, to think he would be unloving to his own family seems absolutely outlandish to me. his loyalty to his nation was born out of his grief and love for his uncle.
i see garen as a man who forsakes his own thoughts, feelings, and needs for the sake of his duty, whether that be to his family, his prince, or the nation of demacia. luxanna who grows up with him has an easier access to his humanity, she’s a tether to his heart. absolutely he has mixed feelings, but even those mixed feelings are born out of his love for her!
“He tried not to think about what his duty would force him to do if his suspicions were ever confirmed.”
the sentence before speaks of his hesitance to get close to her, and i generally believe that is also because garen is just... terrible at deeply and emotionally connecting with people. as i said, i think he is extremely private. but garen cares about lux, he doesn’t want to lose her! to paint him as an uncaring older brother is just... wrong, in my opinion. he’s distant because he loves her, because he’s scared to lose her. luxanna is probably the only person who can get to the personhood of garen because he abandons so much for his responsibility and demacia. even with jarvan, his relationship has an element of service.
i follow you because you have a lovely characterization of kaiba. and i love reading it on my dash.
I follow you because...

❝ I’m watching you like a fucking hawk, you know why? *Whispers in ear* I want you out. ❞ / all kaibas need to send one in its law.
‘ Gordon Ramsay ’ Quotes Starters: Accepting
There truly was something about having his face close to another’s, so close that he could feel the air hit his ear. That something turned out to be a reflex that caused him to shoved the CEO OUT OF HIS DAMN FACE.
“If that was true, you’d have just asked me to leave by now!”
And, as he revealed his trump card, Seto could not help but let out a loud laugh... Albeit unintentionally wicked. "Oh, Yugi. I would love to see you squirm out of this one......"
Perhaps that moment wasn’t the best time to take a sip ofwater, Yugi thought in retrospect. As soon as Seto finished speaking heimmediately began choking on his drink, in complete disbelief of what he hadjust heard.
The worst part was he should’ve known he would say somethinglike that; completely unaware of just how easy it was to misconstrue his words. This was certainly not the first time he had done this.
And he knew all too well that it wouldn’t be the last.
He took another moment to compose himself (lest he speakwhile hacking up a lung), and began his response with a huff of a laugh, “I’msure you would, Seto. I’m sure you would. However,” a pause to draw his nextcard, “I don’t think I’m quite as trapped as you think I am.”
Just hopefully he wouldn’t lose his mind over the next thing he says.

Send me ⊙ and my muse will bold all that applies to yours
I think you are:
| Admirable | Attractive | Absentminded | Amusing | Abrasive | Aloof | Arrogant | Brilliant | Bizarre | Bland | Caring | Charming | Clever | Confident | Courageous | Creative | Cute | Careless | Childish | Clumsy | Cowardly | Cruel | Dignified | Dramatic | Desperate | Devious | Disrespectful | Elegant | Energetic | Emotional | Excitable | Faithful | Forgiving | Friendly | Flamboyant | Foolish | Frightening | Generous | Gloomy | Greedy | Gullible | Helpful | Honest | Hateful | Intelligent | Ignorant | Impulsive | Insensitive | Irresponsible | Lovable | Lazy | Mature | Malicious | Misguided | Monstrous | Narrow-minded | Optimistic | Obnoxious | Peaceful | Persuasive | Protective | Power-hungry | Quirky | Reliable | Romantic | Ridiculous | Sexy | Sophisticated | Selfish | Trusting | Treacherous | Understanding | Unpredictable | Unstable | Vulnerable | Witty | Weak |
Yugi is absolutely no stranger to the worst parts of Seto (having experienced them all first hand), but with everything that has happened to them, that they’ve been through together, he could never find it in himself to hate him (the 3,000 year old ghost inhabiting his body notwithstanding). He’s learned why he is the way he is, and even when he is at his most despicable he can’t help but sympathize with him. He just wants to help him stop depending on that part of himself. He knows what good he’s capable of and what good he’s done, and he knows that he’s capable of so much more. The fact that it’s all covered up by so many layers of thorniness and bitterness just makes it all harder to get to, but to be honest, Yugi kind of enjoys the challenge.
