Some days the classes are large, some days they’re smaller, some days you have to work around the other activities when you work among the very busy military! So today, we worked on sun salutations for home practice. And we listened to the happy tinkle of laughter from a four-month-old mini-warrior who has already learned to love yoga! And we celebrated the fact that families can yoga together in @connectedwarriors Yoga. Even when part of the family is deployed or working, The community is welcoming and warm! Day 2 / 3 of NS Leader Course—I am proud and honored to be asked by Senior Leadership to incorporate yoga into leadership training. I watch those leaders — many new to the practice— give it 100%. I love those moments when they struggle, sweat, swear😊, and when I invite them to find one breath, one moment of stillness—-they close their eyes, steady the breath and find stillness. It is freakin’ amazing and they are the best!
