The journey of a thousand sounds begins with that one board you played with in secondary school, operating it, thinking you were the bomb pushing two faders up and down for play back and thinking it had all the bells and whistles that could have been possibly conceived thru human logic.
Well it has to start somewhere and im proud to say that i am far from who i was and my knowledge of audio has risen way beyond that level as i continue my journey into professional audio.
I started out with barely any idea how an 8 channel mixer works and how it can be integrated into a main system. It was a cute, worn Mackie mixer. Slowly, i unlocked access to some of the better boards in school, the M7CL and MH2, working mini concerts and theater productions as the assistant front of house engineer. As my foundation in signal flow began to solidify, my current knowledge was tested on some of the best sound desk the school has to offer, the CL3, PM5D and Duality SE, working larger scaled theater productions as well as all out in house concerts
