RAPHAEL STILL WASN'T used to being in America, nonetheless was he used to being surrounded by people. Sure, Tokyo was big, and also full of humans, but Shredder's headquarters there were big enough that the mutant had had enough room to himself to entertain himself long enough. In New York, though, this warehouse-lair-hideout ( whatever his father wanted to call it ) was so much smaller, had so much LESS room, and there were too many Foot Ninjas around for him to feel comfortable. This place SUCKED...but it's not like he could say anything to Shredder about that.
THOUGH, HE COULD do what Karai always did and head out on patrol, which is exactly what he did, just to get the hell out of that cramped building and out into the city. And that's exactly what he did, grabbing his gear in case he bumped into any trouble and simply slipping out through a window before Shredder could realize he was gone.
ONCE HE GOT to the roof, he sucked in a breath and let out a soft relieved sigh, taking a second to look over the city and admire the view. The moment didn't last, though, when he heard a noise from behind. Fearing he'd been caught, he whipped around, but let out a silent sigh of relief when he saw who it was.
" OH. XEVER. HELLO. Didn't realize you were out here too -- did I interrupt anything ? "
