this is the quali session i learned that they now get pts for qualifying (3pts for p1; 2 for p2; 1 for p3). i assume they started this in '17 since they didn't overtly mention it

luggi had a stellar start and jumped to p3 by t1! unforch, it was bc he jumped the start :(

two cars stalled and took a bit to get away--mortara and dani.

funnily enough dani also got a pen for jumpstart XD. was the reason he bogged at the start and then they thru salt at him w a 5sec

apparently, the pit wall can't radio the driver to tell them to pit. ????

paffet nicee cut thru the field. he started p10 and was p3 before halftime. and then he was overtaking into p1 ~ten mins later. pfffff

good battle between glock and paffett for the lead. SO close and lasted a while. insane sticking thru turns etc. ugh. good shit. this was my fave part.

just overall the second half was SUCH good battles. rookie eriksson was pushing for podium, rast and rocky and duval appeared to contend near the end. !!! great shit

luggi ended up p15 bc of the pen and dani was p18 :/. AND eki p17 in his final race so not a brills day for scrunglies.

edo retired during the race (only one) but i didn't catch when or why tbh

eki donuted so hard at the end for his sendoff that the tyres blew XDDDDD. love him. i'll miss him :'
