Tw/context: mentions of harassment and bullying I went through a lot about a year ago because I told a story about an ex friend on Twitter. And it led to a huge drama for some reason. Been over a year sense a bunch of people tried to gaslight me and steal my designs, call me a disgusting, racist, narcissistic, rapist, call me slurs, made fun of my art, hell even insist I canāt draw ass (for some reason????). But whatās great about having no other options for a career is you tend to thrive because you have nothing else to lose. Iām making a video game now, I have someone in my life who is absolutely ride or die for me. Even back then I donāt think I had someone quite like them. And I donāt think Iād be quite as productive without them. Itās crazy because I donāt think without all that I wouldnāt have met them. I hope you all continue to watch me thrive. I hope you all continue to watch me work. Iāll be opening a merch shop on Etsy soon and slowly transitioning some designs to my own ocās I think. I donāt think I want my work to just be tied to Aphmau anymore. constantly having to account for the lore retcons is a pain and Iād rather just write my own magic system and lore. Iāll still make posts and designs for it because the brain rot consumes but I want to be able to make money. Because ive been pretty critical of Jess specifically on Tumblr I gotta feeling she wouldnāt work with me.

so some generic lore is that
The bug people arenāt a fantasy race thereās fantasy elements but these are just hybrid alien humans after several thousand years of evolution. Bugs that are considered predatory Spiders mainly are often put under an umbrella term called āPrivimā meaning they embrace ātraditionalā spider eating habits, meaning they cannibalize other bugs.
Thereās also another species made as a byproduct of the human/bug contact. They are simply called āCollectorsā giant creatures with distorted facial/bug features. They capture other bug people and those captured are mostly never heard from again, but are scarred from what they see.
The characters arenāt speaking English, theyāre speaking their own language made by the planets natives.
characters are not small, most things on the planet are just massive.
spiders have a smaller more human like form. They arenāt stuck with spider legs and abdominals all the time.
bugs can be hybrids. Nana is a Beetle/Butterfly hybrid which is why she has such vibrant green wings.
