But no, you didn't miss anything. Yes, Buzz is just,,,,gone. Yes, you should be mad.
In fact, I'm making protest signs this very minute. I don't know who or where I'm going to protest, but I'll figure it out. Buzz deserved better.
Seriously though, Buzz was such a great character. They made it clear he wasn't just in it for her money, and he really respected and cared for Carolyn. I have no idea why they ditched him so abruptly other than they had no idea what to do with his character when the story arc ended. Fun fact though! In one of the audio dramas I listened to recently (can't recall the name atm, but I'll look it up) there's a scene where Quentin and Carolyn run into Buzz at the Blue Whale, and he's been accepted into art school and has a girlfriend, and Carolyn and him remained friends (apparently) and chat, so that was kind of nice.
