☆ :What made you start playing your muse?

I had been wanting to play Peach for a very long time, I think, ever since I started doing Tumblr RP. But I was always cautious on how exactly to approach her. Sometime last year I started playing Super Mario Sunshine and just -- for some reason, though she didn't appear much in the game, that sealed the deal for me. I was gonna play Peach and I was gonna blow everybody's minds. 

Ж :What do you like best about RPing, in general?

   Not routinely, no, though I do have a tendency to keep my music preferences to songs Marius would listen to or that remind me of Marius when I write him. Beyond that, however, I do often read through his chapters in the brick. I think it's always nice to refresh my memory of him, or somehow find a new angle to look at him from, because it's always a different experience every time I read his chapters. I also try to reference his many chapters whenever I can, and especially so if I'm unsure of how he would react to a certain situation in a response I'm writing.

   I don't normally drabble things for Marius, though -- I only really do when I get incredibly interested in a certain aspect of him. For example, I like to think about what goes on through his head during his threat of blowing up the barricade -- beyond the surface of protecting his friends and fighting for the cause, I'm always asking myself if he could have any other reason, or if the reasons he have mean something deeper or different.

What kinds of things do they think about when they zone out?

Man, though, like. I just wanna latch onto gravity. Because — so, like, first we gotta get one thing straight. We don’t know what the fuck gravity is. We don’t know what the fuck a lot of things are (like the Laws of Motion!). The stuff we say about them (again, like the Laws of Motion) are just stories that we make up to help understand what we observe. We don’t actually know anything about what they are or why they happen. It’s just stuff we see.

So the widely accepted story about what gravity is would be that it’s a “spooky force” that all mass has. There’s also stuff like relativity and gravitons and all that shit, but those are complicated stories that we’re not gonna get into for the sake of the readers’ sanity, because I could go on about relativity for hours. But the story that was told before we came up with the spooky force story was that things fell because they wanted to go home. Rocks fall because their home is in the earth. So do trees, and animals, and people — that’s why people are buried when they die; they were just borrowing the earth for a little while and had to return it once they were done using it. Water runs down hills because it’s trying to reach bigger bodies of water, like the ocean. And stuff like flames go up, because they’re trying to reach the sun and stars — that’s their home. And that’s probably the story that Link buys into, because who knows if Hyrule, in its medieval setting, actually has a deeper understanding of gravity, and even if it did, Link probably wouldn’t understand or believe it.

There are a lot of other things but I just latched onto physics because physics is my life sodihfas —

Vernalagnia: Does their mood or outlook on life change with the seasons? If so, how?

A little bit? He gets a little more subdued in autumn and winter, just because the weather itself is becoming more subdued. Probably more peaceful during those times as well, because he likes the lingering quiet of those seasons. He gets a bit more upbeat in spring, and when it's not too hot out he's pretty friggin' joyous in summer. For none of these, though, is it a drastic change -- it's very subtle.

Welter: What subject will they never fully understand?

I don't know if he'll ever quite understand why he was thrown into the mess that is the Triforce Triumvirate's dumb destiny, or why that's even a thing to start with. He won't ever understand the motivations of Zelda or Ganondorf, and he can't really manage a full introspection of himself, either. He doesn't know what Midna's reasons for breaking the Mirror was, though he trusts that they were good ones.
