Toshinori didn’t waste the time they were given to prepare at all, already scanning their surroundings and making a mental map he was ready to expand. The goal was simple: they would be given a location at the exercise start, and within a time limit they had to arrive on the scene, and diffuse whatever situation it is. It would test their response time to a crisis, and their decision making on the scene itself.
He glanced over at his partner briefly, trying to remember what her quirk was. On hindsight, he probably should have asked before they started, but the thought hadn’t even crossed his mind. He vaguely recalled fire.
Regardless, he was ready to take care of this on his own if needed.
“Attention heroes! A situation has escalated and backup has been requested.”
The small device they were given pinged, and Toshinori looked down at it to see a small dot appear on an overmap showing their destination. he held it up for her to see.
“Villains are aware of your approach and will attempt to impede your progress! Be swift and be smart!“
“Let’s go then.” And without hesitation he started running, straight for their goal.
