Finally got around to watching your video and found it really informative! While I was aware of some of the history of Kin identities, I didn't realize the different aspects and ranges of how one may come into their identity. (Walk in soul vs multiverse theory for example) I know you skimmed the topic of neopronouns with the mention of trolls such as someone kinning the grinch for instance, please do let me know if I should ask elsewhere, how can I tell apart a troll from a kin with neopronouns?
Also I realized that was a really long ask, so I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to make such a helpful and concise video as well as taking the effort to educate and be open to guiding others to a commonly misunderstood topic!
hi! of course, thank you!
there isnāt necessarily a perfect answer for that, but theyāre most likely not a troll if all or some of these things are true:
their neopronouns have been used by others in any sense, even if they are unpopular (fae/fae/faeself pronouns for instance)
their kintypes are not strictly popular anime characters and/or āmemeā characters (for example, if theyāre kin with komaeda, sans undertale, shrek, and george costanza, maybe tread carefully)
theyāre not making outlandish/purposefully inflammatory claims like something along the lines of ānot watering me is plantkin racistā orĀ āfictionkin are more oppressed than black peopleā
hopefully thatās helpful!
