Okay, so I never knew that “Drunk Giraffe” had an origin story!!!! 

DWM: Care to share any of the in-jokes which you and Matt share?

Karen Gillan: “There are many. I’m now known as Plural Chin.”

DWM: Plural Chin?”

Karen Gillan: “It’s because I have two chins. It started and now it’s just undying. Every day.”

DWM: “That’s not meant in a “double-chin” kind of way right?”

Karen Gillan: “Yeah.”

DWM: But you don’t have two chins!

Karen Gillan: “Awwww, that’s…thanks! Would you please tell Matt that?”

DWM: We’ll recommend singular chin as your new name, although it’s admittedly less snappy. At least you get to call him Drunk Giraffe. “

Karen Gillan: Yes, he does walk like a very drunk giraffe. I found out that Steven had called him that, and so I revelled in it and called him that for ages.”
