Is it really December 1st!? I was so excited that my friend @karendawnknits decided to do another Advent calendar this year! Although I still haven't finished last year's after it got interrupted by appendicitis... Anywho. I knew as soon as she shared her description of it that I wanted to do a modified version of my #drumlinshawl with all those delicious minis! Gosh, I DO love minis. I started this wrap almost two years ago and raced through the first three skeins so I could use it as a sample "swatch" for a magazine submission. I was delighted when they accepted and it was released as the #drumlinshawl in November of last year through @interweavecraft using Marina from @manosdeluruguayyarns (gorgeous yarn!). I didn't get any photos of me wearing the #drumlinshawl before I mailed it off to @interweavecraft, unfortunately, but I did take a couple on my fence that really showcase how wonderfully it drapes using Marina by @manosdeluruguay! You know what else this would be fun to work in? Advent minis! It would be a scarf instead of a wrap, but those textured stitches would look fantastic transitioning through all the different colors!
