#MotherhoodMonday Well I am currently 16 days postpartum and it feels good to wake up in a milk puddle... Especially since baby slept through the night til 6am. Baby head leaned back He done OD'd Milk knocked him out like he on that codeine He slain in the spirit My nipples sore AF But I'm surly committed Until he's had enough I tell the truth Some education is so misleading Especially when we get down to breastfeeding Yes - Breastfeeding does hurt That baby putting in work Even with a perfect latch You ain't never had yo breast sucked like that So - It takes some getting use to Just remember It's not everyday You have a new born human sucking for survival In the most desperate way Baby gettin it in They wanna thrive too They come to this world for a purpose To show and prove That this is all worth it They gaining weight by the ounces This is how they show their appreciation It's more that a Thank You...
