It's a little late, but I wanted to send some love to the LGBTQ+ community, which is as diverse as it is beautiful. Love is never wrong. π³οΈβπβ£ β£ Even though our nation remained focused on protesting against racism and police brutality against Black people, I didn't hear the LGBTQ+ community complain once about "losing" or "sharing" their moment. β£ β£ In fact, I saw most community members elevate Black voices in solidarity and use the opportunity to advocate for Black trans people, who are especially vulnerable to multiple forms of oppression due to the intersection of race, gender, and sexuality. A lesson in allyship we can all learn from. β£ β£ A huge shout out to @duclawbrewingco and @diablo_doughnuts for being quick to voice their support for the BLM and Pride movements. π€β₯οΈπ§‘ππππ And you know... for blessing us with a beer called Unicorn Farts.
