Practicing for Tiki Tuesday. The el Diablo from Trader Vic’s Bartender’s Guide by way of David Lebovitz’s superb latest book, Drinking French. The French Connection? The Créme de Cassis that’s in it. After having this drink for the first time (very good BTW) I think a nice Mezcal would also work in it in place of the silver tequila. A batch of rosemary bar nuts from Drinking French by David Lebovitz. They go so well with those warmer drinks or even a glass of straight bourbon 🥃. The pecans play off the bourbon flavour so well. Enjoying working my way through this book.
