Beer, Earl Grey, cold! Make it so. Et cetera.
This drink is very nice, though! The tea flavor is very unobtrusive—I might not’ve guessed this was a flavored beer if I hadn’t gone in knowing—but it still creates a really lovely, round, mellow taste. Almost sweet but not quite. Would buy again.
Cold nights and cold drinks! Starting with Lucky Snake (for 2025!!!), ending with the hope that somehow things will look up.....? (Or maybe the acknowledgement that we have are staring down a journey up some dark stairs, man.)

Non-alcoholic drink hands again! If you were wondering: Celery soda is to ginger ale as cream soda is to root beer, nobody ever told me that San Pellegrino was sweetened, bubble tea has way more bobas than necessary (about half would be perfect), and the 7-11 banana au lait drink tastes like a creamy dream cloud of heaven.
Local beers of Massachusetts (and one from Pennsylvania)! My favorites were the Raspberry Barleywine Ale and the French Toast Porter. The Lavender Lemon Ale was exciting in theory but tasted mostly like white wine and not at all like flowers.
The most surprising thing was that beers are so big now. Why are beers so big now? Or were cans always tall like this and it's just that I moved to Japan before I could legally drink? It's nice that it encourages sharing, but are we all sharing or is it just my family?
Also, I would like to pay my respects to the kitty cat wallpaper in my childhood bedroom, which is being peeled down (maybe even as we speak). Thank you for your service, kitties! We love you.
Pink drinks to celebrate sakura season :) This year, the peak was supposed to be around March 23, but the sakura were very sleepy. Today is April 6 and we are just now seeing full bloom!
(Of course, if they weren't so late, I wouldn't have had time to try so many pink drinks or sort through my old photos! So maybe this time it's on me.)
