Wind Caller
These crow/raven-like Rahi are some of the most intelligent avian Rahi in Terra-Magna. Their intelligence and high prevalence in Driah (Shadow Region) are what make them a common pet of Kra-Matoran, Toa of Shadow, and even Makuta.
Wind Callers are given their name as they make a distinct (some might call it obnoxious or disruptive) cawing noise that echoes in the winds of the Shadowood Forest.
Wind Callers can be used for entertainment by doing tricks and mimicking voices (which can also be used to fool opponents), they can even be used as spies or, less morally, attacking. Their intelligence can be showcased in the image above, in which a crow is using a stick as a tool to dig for ants in an ant hill to eat.
Wind Callers have an odd tendency to swarm around deceased lifeforms, which led to an old legend about the presence of a large group of Wind Callers symbolizes impending or even recent death.
Though the Wind Caller’s homeland originates in Driah, since they are birds capable of flight, they can be seen anywhere on Terra-Magna.
