Having lost her entire family in the invasion, Anne was one of the members of the 2nd Massachusetts who Lourdes was naturally drawn towards because of the utility of their shared medical knowledge, but their personal relation is one that grew out of mutual regard and admiration; Anne’s for Lourdes’ unfailing hope and Lourdes’ for Anne’s nerves of steel. Their relationship is far more than that of colleagues, however: to Lourdes, Anne Glass-Mason, who falls somewhere between a mother and an older sister, is her eternal companion and somebody she implicitly trusts with her life.

(In modern au, though, pls imagine Anne mentoring bb high school Lourdes and encouraging her med school ambitions anyway pls bc my brotp <333 )

Lourdes is very close to her older siblings, and her cousins. Before they were a big excitable bunch of co-conspirators.

In canon verse, Lourdes is weirdly the slightest bit jealous of Matt Mason in the very beginning. She would never begrudge anyone their happiness, especially not in a world like theirs, but it bites to know that, even at the end of the world, Matt has something she yearns for constantly and will likely never have again.

Nobody, truthfully. Trust No Bitch is practically her motto, especially in a place like Ironhollow, where anything can be bought for the price of a bullet. At some point in her life, she did trust her brother, though, but she can see him drifting now and disconnecting during the harder parts of their family, so she fears he isn’t fully trustworthy anymore.

Strangely enough, Kitae. He’s probably the oldest and most ill-treated of their prisoners and, much as she’d like to ignore it, he’s a constant reminder of just how cruel and unreasonable this business can get every time she looks at him. Which is why she’d rather not instead.

SHER KHAN

The Greater Good of Ironhollow. Tbh, he knows that people can be good and they can be shitty, but neither means he needs to be Justice himself and kill them for their moral shortcomings. He does, however, want his home to be a better place for all who live there so he would (and likely already has) kill for the town’s good.

The tether that has tied the Khans together and kept the family moving forward has always been the matriarch, Sher’s mother. The woman is an institution in Ironhollow probably and Sher pities her almost as much as he is supposed to love her, because the woman both chooses to and has no other choice but to assert her strength in Ironhollow with cruelty and bloodthirst. It sickens him.

🍓…someone my muse has never met, but wants to meet.

His father. The Khan family has probably always been a very patriarchal set-up but Sher’s ma and sister are the first women leading it because his father has never been a part of the picture and there is no knowledge of him and Sher is so damn curious about who he is and what he’s like. Only a part of this curiosity brims from the fact that he really would like to know if he takes after this faceless man, instead of the mother he would rather not resemble if he has the choice.

ROWENA RAVENCLAW

👀 …someone my muse likes, but doesn’t trust. 

Rowena likes Godric, she really does, but she does not fully trust him. This means that while she’ll trust that his loyalties lie in the right place and he would never knowingly hurt any of his friends, she also doesn’t trust that his Noble Intentions or the undying need to do the Right Thing would not get the better of him and this makes her a little wary of absolutely trusting him.

If there is one person in the whole entire world who would chop their own hand off before betraying their friend, it’s Helga and Rowena knows this, which is why she likely does not think twice before trusting the girl.But also, while she knows that Salazar is smart enough to not place another’s trust over his own interests, she trusts him enough to know that he is trustworthy to the best of his abilities, as long as it does not compromise on himself, and she thinks that is a fair priority?
