The author of this blog post explores the console version of The Sims, specifically looking at the game files and how they are saved. They experiment with swapping different types of files around to see what happens, such as loading story mode neighborhoods in play the sims mode or adding challenge/multiplayer lots into the mix. They find that some lots work well and all story mode sims appear without any issues, but other lots don't load correctly. They also provide downloads for Xbox premade save files that work best on a modded Xbox with an FTP supported dashboard.
