How does the doppelganger stuff work?
Anything you wanted to do with Drew but couldn't due to one reason or another?
- YES! THEY DO!!
- On paper, it's a time maintainence job. Maintain the timeline, make sure anything doesn't break, all of that. Drew also just happens to also do pretty much anything their bosses ask them to do, which is completely unrelated to their job, and they do not get paid at all for the extra stuff. Most of this stuff involves like very heavy administrative work, which is along with the fact that Drew's job by essense of keeping time intact is also very heavy. Safe to say, a very extensive job.
- I imagine for one being in the Universe, there's another being that exists, just like them to some degree. That is the doppelganger. Not all of them are evil, and none of them are after you. I imagine the original project was to find one, and then live with one, because finding a doppelganger in the vast reaches of the universe? Hard.
-originally drew was supposed to be the concept of death who wanted to find swap!gale and moth for cheating death and get them back to hell. However, I scrapped this because while I did have a plan, I wanted to write Ryder a lot more seriously but I did not want it to be from Ryder's perspective. Drew did end up evolving into their own character, so that's great for me
