I can't believe I've been obsessed with them it's been under a year.
Toonstruck (Trailer) Developer: Burst Studios | Platform: PC
You’ve been struck, by a Toon no less (2020)
I was just recently watched a playthrough of this old PC game that had the one and only Christopher Lloyd in a toon world (sound kinda familiar) and it was such a delight, Lloyd is a treat to watch. And I love his character Drew Blanc. :) I humbly ask you do yourself a favor and watch a playthrough or buy the game. Â

Imagine Toonstruck portraying Back to the Future.
You know, I’ve been thinking about this. The first thing that came to mind was this idea of the wacky guy/straight man dynamic. This is extremely obvious with Drew Blanc and Flux Wildly, with Drew being the straight man (but still getting laughs of his own.) It’s less of a thing in BttF, but in scenes where they’re together Marty often acts as the straight man to Doc, less for straight comedy and more for explaining things to the audience, but you can still see the dynamic that Marty’s just caught up in Doc’s bizarre antics.
What I’m saying is, I can’t think of a fun way to spoof BttF with Toonstruck, but what I can imagine is that if you combined the two sets of main characters for a wacky guy/straight man comparison, you could have Drew Blanc as Doc Brown’s straight man, and I’m just imagining Christopher Lloyd playing off himself and honestly having such a good time with it.

what's your favorite quotes from Toonstruck?
The only ones I can remember offhand are these ones:
DREW: That’s an interesting organ you have there.BARMAN: Och, my kilt’s riding up again, isn’t it?
DREW: If you ask me… conning the ultra-gullible doesn’t sound like a particularly rewarding career. Where’s the challenge? Where’s the joy? Now, in my line of work– but enough about me. This is about YOUR career mistake. (Sounds like Drew’s still bitter about that job he needs to get back to.)
DREW: The horse seems a little… quiet.MARGE: Elmer? Yes, Elmer’s… special.FLUX: Special?MARGE: You know… “it’s a nice silo, but it isn’t holding any grain,” if you grasp my meaning.POLLY: No gra-a-a-ain.FLUX: Grain? I just figured he was a total moron or something.DREW: Sorry, ladies. Flux is… special.
DREW: Good book?MS. FIT: Not even! I’m, like, a total agnostic!
