The first wave of scrubs fabric has finally arrived! I'm so proud to be able to participate in this massive voluntary effort to clothe and protect our frontline key workers in health and social care - but I'm fuming that it's had to get to this point. Our government has chipped away and underfunded our vital services so much that it's left those on the frontline underpaid, unprotected and undersupported. Communities shouldn't have to sort out the Tories' mess and pick up the pieces.
