Lestat de Lioncourt
Lestat generally wears pyjamas/night clothes to go to sleep along with sleep shoes?
When Lestat wears a robe it means something else, especially if it's the Leyendecker robe.
Lestat just dragged Louis in from the sun, he didn't have time to change. This is the one time we see Lestat sleep naked
Strategically naked in delicto with my side piece hoping knowing that Louis would come over and cause a scene have angry reunion sex would like his music.
If Lestat is naked-ish, wearing a suit, or something else he's doing a power play, trying to seduce or he didn't have time/wants to make it look like he didn't have time. Otherwise he wears sleep clothes
Like this robe
These pyjamas.
Louis, Lestat and Claudia. Lestat is wearing white or cream pjs; claudia has her coffin and is wearing her frilly night dress, and Louis is wearing his cute red set. Lestat is giving the not so subtle sneak into my coffin and hook up later signal.
Lestat wears sleep shoes to bed:
Lestat also likes wearing dressing robes:
Here Lestat is arguing with Louis wearing a robe over his undershirt and pants.
THE LEYENDECKER OF LONGING
Lestat with the robe after Louis leaves the house after hooking up
Lestat on the balcony waiting for Louis to acknowledge ONS, "come to me"
Holy fuck, he's still wearing it since 1940?
Louis de Pointe Du Lac
Louis de Pointe du Lac is a nightclothes pyjamas man unless he's roughing it.
Louis has taken Lestat back here and is wearing this set:
In Dubai, Louis is wearing a pj set and no shoes
Louis in sleep clothes, when Claudia asks him to come to the coven initiation. Louis is distressed as hell because he just hallucinated murdering lestat after armand said he knew he was lying and Claudia gives him more details about Bruce. This barely looks like sleep clothes to me.
Lestat, sleep shoes?
Claudia
Claudia wears night dresses unless she's roughing it.
If Claudia is in a white shift or something like it before she sleeps; she's in a lot of distress:
I think these are undergarments to the dress she was wearing on her date with Charlie but she's getting ready to burn her arm in the sun. She's not wearing shoes here.
This is the undergarments to her Mardi Gras ball gown after they attack Lestat; in Louis' memory showing her as distressed about slitting his throat. I don't think she's wearing shoes here either.
Claudia is older here and in Paris trying to project a more adult image, but also she's guarded as she's talking about her week of imprisonment and sexual assaults with Bruce while hoping the coven are the friendly vampires who'll accept her.
Armand
Unless Armand is in his full gremlin Pigpen mode he wears sleep clothes and/or has a sleep ritual.
Armand does not wear sleep shoes to bed:
Here in the Dubai penthouse, Armand is wearing a pyjama set:
Here Armand is not wearing sleep clothes. But notice that Armand doesn't wear shoes to bed; and also considering he's about to sneak out to dump Louis' coffin in the sewers it's probably just as well he isn't tracking that into his coffin:
Neither Armand nor Louis go to sleep in underwear; that's strictly post coital.
Daniel Molloy
The one main cast character we never see wear any sleep clothes, in any time period, and we only see asleep once is human. He's an old man with health problems and probable jetlag (Dubai is 10 hours ahead of New York City) who we don't see drink or use any stimulant stronger than some herbal tea.
This is not a comfortable outfit to fall asleep in.
And even as a vampire, (so far) we do not see him asleep, since it's not close to his vampire bed time; it's close to Louis' bedtime in Dubai. This may or may not say something about how vulnerable that character feels when he's asleep.
