- Anna and Cuddles followed the butterflies to an open space in the forest. They saw a huge colourful flowerbed that smelled like all Mama’s perfumes put together. Anna heard faint singing coming from the flowers. Sweet and happy songs, slow and upbeat songs, lullabies and sad songs. Anna lay down to listen and heard Mama sing “Baby girl, it’s time for bed, time to rest your sleepy head”. Anna was tired indeed, the dancing and swimming had exhausted her. She cuddled up to the moon and watched the butterflies flutter. The Moon said: “These are the songs that people sing when they are alone. The songs do not leave their mouths, but they fill their hearts”. Anna sighed and eyelids grew heavy. Cuddles yawned and rested his head on Anna’s belly. .
