   “ try not to struggle, little lizard. you’re hooked up to very sensitive equipment, though you might find your legs to be temporarily useless. ” she circled the table she had strapped the silurian so carefully to. 

    “ and if you so much as wag your tongue in my direction i shall chop it off and feed it to you. am i making myself clear? now be a good little lizard and bask under this hot light while i finish up my research on you. ”

     “ i’m sorry were you speaking to me? i can tune out any human sounds such as speaking, screaming, begging me to stop...  ” the Master continued to tinker with their ships control panel, the chameleon circuit had rendered their ship to resemble a dilapidated coffee shop on the outside, which was supposed to deter people from entering not welcome them. 

      “ wait, why are you on my ship? ”  

     “ ah, as sharp as ever, Madame Vastra. ” the doctor applauded as the earthling reptile so effortlessly piloted their time machine, they hadn’t expected she would have picked up the intricate controls so quickly - especially when they themselves still struggle with some of the mechanics, even after nearly four millennia of piloting the thing.

    “ yep, the oscillator is oscillating ... the relativity differentiator is differentiating annnnd ... ah! the kettle is boiled! fancy a cuppa?  ”

“ ...  okie dokie, looks like i wasn’t entirely clear before. so lemme explain it as simply as i possibly can, aye? ahe-he-hem. I’M A BLOODY DEMON, MATE. ” aoife rolled their eyes at the question, mostly at how stupid it sounded to ask a demon such a question. “ ye know -- from that wee place called hell? i can draw ye a picture if ye like. ”
