Buffalo, NY -- Last week, dreambeaches released their new EP Disappearing Act, featuring the track “the only reason you want to go to california is that it’s the closest thing to heaven in your mind”. Despite the hefty title of the track, the song is actually this woozy laid-back indie rock track with just a hint of synth to add a bit of texture. The vocals have that sun-soaked lo-fi sound that is perfect for a late afternoon soundtrack. The instrumentation on this track is a little staccato-y and has a bit of that beach rock sound that is calm yet whimsical.
