Seewirl (lvl 18) -> Drowswirl (lvl 36) -> Iridisee These nocturnal and oracular creatures prefer never to be seen and are only active in the wee hours of the morning, after midnight. It's said that they can see into the hearts of those who seek them out, and a person lucky enough to gain their trust will be granted a single wish.
These are Water/Dream types and are inspired by the zodiacs Cancer and Pisces.
Seewirl is a shy little guy who is just learning to take in the world that it sees around it. The feathers on its back almost look like eyelashes, giving it a very innocent air. It hasn't quite figured out how to discern others' true intentions. When it evolves into Drowswirl, it gains a second eye and retreats into itself for a while as it processes everything it has learned. Its shell becomes a cocoon for it hide within while it recharges from all the stimuli it experienced in its base form. It's very sleepy! And finally, when it evolves into Iridisee, it has gained a deeper understanding of the world and receives a third eye with which to look into the hearts of others. It is able to spread its wings and live its life without being swayed by the whims and intentions of those around it.
