In the first ever Penny Arcade strip on the official website, Gabe knitted Tycho a sweater. In the April 10th, 2026 strip "Sweating To The Oldies", he somehow doesn't know what knitting needles are.
Questions (I have a bunch):
Did Gabe knit Tycho's sweater without knitting needles? What did he use to knit that sweater? Does it have anything to do with his psychic ability?
Has Gabe forgotten how to knit over the years, or does he somehow still do it? And to an extent, does he still harness his psychic ability to this day?
Also, (very important) does Tycho still keep that sweater?

"My eldest daughter will be delighted to hear you say this knitting needle shit. As soon as the strip came out, they said "CONTINUITY ERROR." One of the more interesting implications of the initial strip is that implies that Tycho's normal garb is a sweater and not a shirt. Something to think about there, for everyone. Marinate on that."
