Stranger Things Theory
I think Kali is evil for many reasons, because she is very similar to the Bad Men, (this isn’t saying she isn’t a good character, I just think she is evil)
- Papa pushed Eleven to her limit just as Kali did
(Kali made Eleven find Ray/kill him and Papa made Eleven contact the demogorgon)
- Papa and Kali (in a way) both tested on Eleven
(Kali made eleven push the train car, and made her try to locate people
Papa made eleven contact the russian man, and tried to get her to crush a can)
- Kali and Papa both emotionally manipulated Eleven
(Kali literally used Papa to try and convince her to stay, and told her ‘this isn’t a prison jane’ and Papa called himself ‘papa’ and locked her in the small room to make her feel more attached to him.)
- Kali and Papa altered Jane’s appearance
(Kali dressed Eleven in the ‘bitchin’ look and called her Jane, (El didn’t choose the outfit) and the bad men shaved Eleven’s head, tattooed her, and put her in a hospital gown)
- Kali and the bad men both drive around in vans (this may seem minor but it could be symbolism)
