I’ve been checking out your blog, and I think your art is amazing!

Well hello there, dear! Secret crushes, you say? Gracious me! If I told you that, they wouldn’t be much of a secret, now would they? Hmmm... But then again, you do seem to be the trustworthy sort. Integrity is a mighty difficult quality to find in times such as these. Knowledge, as you mentioned, as a given. Nothing makes me shiver quite so much as running my fingertips over the spine of a worn book. And to be sure, the smell that comes from the pages of a favorite tome is enough to make me need a cold shower. But there is only so much companionship that comes from novel or encyclopedia alike, and a woman tends to get lonely even at my age. Ahem, but it seems I am getting far ahead of myself. Perhaps there was a... “crush”...  As you put it, in the not-so-faraway past. But let’s just say it... Didn’t work out. Plain and simple.
