16.) ANGULAR When I initially read the prompt list I knew I wanted to draw an angular man because a like angular looking men. I think most people do. In particular I like angular men with oblong facial structures and long noses. Just beautiful. Looking for good reference images was a little bit of a challenge because when you search for "angular men" or "men with angular features" you get a lot of male models with big square jaws. Also, I was in a busy coffee shop and this guy that stares at me a lot was sitting behind me as I looked through possibly hundreds of pictures of conventionally hot guys. I really enjoyed playing with trait edges to construct various features that while angular for a face are pretty rounded and soft. I wanted to use the continuation of the lines to mark the natural progression of lines in the face and how the develop around and in harmony with facial features. Personally I'm not big fan of smooth faces when drawing men in particular. While this isn't the best thing I've ever created, I'm actually really pleased because this is one of the very few things I've done without egregious errors all over the place. Feel free to make fun of me anyways.
