HOLY CRAP GUYS HAVE YOU EVER TRIED BRUSH PENS?!
Not all of the drawings saved right, this is all i had.
Post numbah 2! (what two post in one day what!? scroll down for the first one) After mechanical objects comes ANIMALS IN MOVEMENT! And this my friends…this was freakin’ cool! I liked doing this so much that I wanted to show you all of my 10 pages. I’m very happy with them. You get all these strange and fun forms and putting them all together creates this sense of movement. I know I said something very obvious but it’s kinda magically to see it all come together. Mechanical parts was cool but this exercise reminded me what I really enjoy drawing. Organic living things that move, twitch, jump and kick and most of all feel very close to us.
Have everyone! Today is the one, the only, Monkey Monday!
So I have been busy with one heck of a challenge launched by H.C.Brown. A challenge designed to get you drawing a lot everyday! I mean 10 pages of sketchbook a day! It is tough and I have been barely managing but I’m freakin’ loving this challenge very much! It’s really a great exercise that will get you drawing stuff you most probably don’t like and drawing it many times! Advantages of this is you get face to face with things that are hard to draw, which will lead you to overcoming them and getting better. If you wanna join in check this video out where she explains the whole concept and this document too! I highly recommend it! That’s its for me, I have to catch up! Great week everyone

Hey hey everybody. Yes it is true, I didn’t manage to post on Monday…you can stop looking disappointed at me…please…But today I’m gonna give you not one but TWO sexy, hairy posts (you like dat right?) As you know I have been busy with this little challenge created by H.C.Brown (which I have already failed miserably at…but I’m gonna go until the end!) So here the theme was mechanical pieces or objects and I must say this took me forever as artificial things are so symmetric, so overall “correct” and if you can’t capture that it sticks out like a sore thumb. Other than that I got to practice a lot of perspective and that was really good. It’s not so intimidating anymore and actually is pretty helpful visualizing and creating things that occupy space. I’m really liking this challenge as its forcing me to do things I have been shying away from. Second post is on da way!
Ugg PS has been glitchy lately when saving.
Hey everybody, another Monkey Monday reporting in!
So here I got some hands studies I did for my draw10aday challenge, where you have to draw 10 pages a day in your sketchbook, sticking to the prompts (check ‘em out here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vvbCyMDIbAiIgeFqjCBN4_ZWuceMK9BC8GPdswP4P6Q/preview?pageId=105085365480202011597), for 10 days! So in the end I will be having a whopping 100 pages of completed drawings, which I can’t wait to have! Of course I haven't actually managed to stick to the time limit for various reasons but I’m still gonna keep going till the end! If you are having some trouble with hands check out this by Mister Prokopenko. It helped me understand how to create structure through cubes, rectangles, cones and spheres which help tremendously in achieving more authentic looking hands. I think managing to transform complex objects into easy and simple geometric forms helps a lot in any kind of drawing. Working always large to small!
Well that's it for today! If you are interested in seeing the rest of my draw10aday challenge entries and more go to https://www.instagram.com/ronfsilva/
Appreciate it! See you guys next week! Keep it sexy and sassy!
