I actually loved Amy's cheesy voiceover at the beginning of the Season 6 episodes. Sometimes I load up an episode just to watch it.
It’s effective as an intro to the state of the show. I just found it a bit tiresome myself.

Hi, you know so much about PoPs, and their rarity, and all that, so I wondered if you could answer a question for me? Are POPs that are broken somewhat in the box considered valuable and rare, like some other toys?

you’ll have to be a little more detailed by what you consider “broken”. If there is a mistake within the paint job which I kind of consider that broken… but if it’s missing an arm or something like that which I’ve never seen I would like to say no. Most people who collect funko pops are very picky in terms of what they’re buying. I personally usually look at 3 or 4 different type of pops of the same character before buying the one I like. I’ve also seen pops that are not place correctly in the box or in a damage box and the value for those usually goes down. Now if you’re talking about a super rare pop, for example let say the white raven hottopic exclusive. Her current value is $110, if you had her but her box was damage then her value will go down but by a little or up to the buyer’s choice. I would gladly spend 50 or maybe even 65 for her if the box was completely damage or doesn’t have one. But I’ve seen sellers put something like that up for sale and only knocked down like $10 and in which case it’s not really worth it. If her head was broken… I wouldn’t buy it at all. I haven’t seen anyone trying to sell a pop with a broken piece so I would want to say yes it loses it’s value. Fugutive toys usually do a “damage” box for sell, and it usually has like 20 funko pops for 100 and a lot of it are exclusives or rare pop. BUT maybe their paint job was done crappy or their boxes are super messed up like falling apart.Â

Don’t they spend like nine months filming just the 13 they’ve been doing the last couple years? Is there any show produced in England that does more than twenty episodes, outside of soaps, news, and children’s shows?
I barely know anything about the way television’s produced, so please correct me if I’m wrong. I got the impression from listening to the commentaries for The Thick of It that they usually commission three episodes for a standard series, with the option of upgrading to 6 or 12 depending on budget/demand/etc. And I guess there would be a lot more restraints in terms of the BBC budget because it’s a taxpayers-funded thing, so maybe that’s why everything is produced so slowly.

drakeami - yeah, some seriously bizarre logic on the BBC’s/Le Moff’s part to have this particular piece of info released right before the series starts airing. Maybe it’s for dramatic tension? or to give viewers some warning in advance so people don’t flip out en masse when it does happen? Red herring? Well, we’re all certainly intrigued now.

I hope you get your shower! My husband showers early and rinses his feet in the bathtub before bed... Shower right before bed is the only way to guarantee I'll fall asleep though.
I did get my shower, just a bit before midnight. My whole back ached from the cat nap I took on the floor. Sometimes I rinse my feet in the sink, but there’s always a risk I’ll sprain something because the sink’s quite high up, and I’ve got very poor flexibility.
