•So *someone* decided to cause another argument, so be it. I know about the whole conversation going on about greymuzzles in the otherkind community right now and I just want to say that you really shouldn’t try and put others on pedestals and idolize them. I’m not a greymuzzle, as I’ve never been labeled as one, though I have noticed a pattern of a few in otherkin spaces and on social media idolizing my being and seeing myself as a “community pillar of sorts”. You shouldn’t idolize my being or anyone else in the otherkind community in all honesty. Those of you who label some of us in the community as pillars, leaders, or greymuzzles often do not account for the fact that we’re normal individuals just like the rest of you. We don’t need or require any special treatment, recognition, or hell forbid reverence. Others have argued that I and others have “influence” in the community, and maybe we do have some sort of influence in the community in whatever way, though I do not see that as a reason to treat us any differently than you would someone else. With that being said, I don’t want anyone idolizing my being, calling my being the “dragon queen” or whatever. I’m just an individual, I want to be treated the way you treat a normal person on the street. I’m incredibly uncomfortable with any kind of “special treatment” a “community leader” gets from others, so please don’t. Thanks.
