Elsa sighed as she walked on to the floor. It was almost opening. The store had nearly gone bankrupt in part because Elsa had been avoiding it. She had inherited her position of authority. And it wasn't that she didn't want it. She just didn't know if those under her would listen because of that.

And in part because the economy tanked. But now things were getting better. So Elsa had hired a new department manger to try and bring some life into the place.

Rapunzel was playing with the end of her long braid, listening to Professor Snape talk about the next thing they would be learning about. She wasn’t a big fan of potions class but seemed to do well in it.  The only reason she was taking Advanced Potions was to challenge herself. She loved to learn which is why there was no surprise from her when she ended up in Ravenclaw.

Soon the professor began to partner people up. Each partner in a group of two was from a different house. He just loved to see people squirm.  She sighed softly as the person next to her got up to move. “Who does not have a partner yet?” Snape asked, eyes scanning the crowd. Rapunzel raised her hand and a dark haired boy raised his hand too. “Very well, you two will be together.”  He turned and walked to the board.

Rapunzel gathered up her things and walked toward the boy, wincing every now and then as people pulled her hair. Slytherin boys like to do that a lot for some reason.  She didn’t know why, but it amused them to bother her. After a deep breath to keep herself calm, she sat down. “Hi,” she said softly. “I’m Rapunzel. I hope we have a great year together as partners.”  A friendly smile crossed her face as she looked up at him.

Rapunzel groaned as the sun burst through the window. It felt like someone was hitting her in the head with a hammer. Her memories of the night before were fuzzy at best. “I just hope I didn’t do anything I’ll regret.” She muttered before slowly opening her eyes and sitting up.  Suddenly she became very apparent of the lump beside her. “Oh no…” she breathed as her eyes stopped on the face of a guy. “What the heck did I do?”
